　■ 箸のこと
　輪島でつくられる箸は、漆との馴染みが良く、木に粘り気がある輪島の地元材・ヒノキ
　アスナロが使われています。
　輪島キリモト・桐本木工所の箸は、楕円形と四方の2種類。昔は主流だった楕円形の箸は、
　人の手により楕円形に削り出していくため、より多くの時間を有します。そのため、一度
　製造が途切れてしまいました。。。しかし、石川県工業試験場トライアルセンターからの
　依頼で、再び楕円形の箸を復活させたのです。人間工学的にも持ち易く、手にしっくりと
　馴染みます。そして、角を落とした四方箸は、しっかりと手に持つことができ、少し太め
　がお好みの方にぴったりです。

　■ About Chopsticks
　The chopsticks made in Wajima go well with the lacquer. They are made with local
　wood material, Hinokiasunaro (Thujopsis dolabrata) , which is a sticky tree. Wajima
　Kirimoto introduces two kinds of chopsticks, one is the oval shape and the other is
　a rounded-square shape. In ancient times, oval chopsticks that were mainly used,
　required more time to produce and manufacturing had once been stopped.
　However, oval chopsticks were revived again by the request of the Trial center
　Industrial Research institute of Ishikawa. They are ergonomic, and can be held
　easily and are comfortable in your hand. Rounded-square chopsticks which have
　rounded-edges can be held in your hand firmly. These meet the requirement of who
　would like to have thick chopsticks.

　　Oval chopsticks of Hinokiasunaro (Thujopsis dolabrata) which you may not find easily
　　at any other places. Gentle and smooth touch in your hand. It is worth trying them.

　　Makiji finished chopsticks are unslipery and durable. These chopsticks are for
　　everyday use.

　　Slightly thick rounded-square chopsticks cannot be damaged easily with the Makiji
　　finish. This is a basic style and good as a gift.

　　Put the chopsticks in a Paulownia wooden gift box for the gift to someone special.
　　The receiver will be well pleased with these comfortable chopsticks. *Please choose
　　the gift box separately.
