　朴の木を使って、刳り出す加工が得意な輪島キリモト・桐本木工所がつくるスプーンは
　軽くて、なめらかな持ち心地。漆塗りのスプーンは、極端に熱く（冷たく）ならず、口
　当たり、舌触りがとても良い。だから、小さな赤ちゃんも一度口に入れたら放さない。
　桐本家では、使い古しのスプーンを歯固め代わりに使われていたほど。

　■ About Spoon
　The spoons made by Wajima Kirimoto (which is good at processing hollowed
　wooden cores) are very light and have a smooth feel in the hand. Lacquer coated
　spoons do not convey heat easily, therefore they do not become either hot or cold.
　As it has a smooth feel on the mouth and the tongue, a baby does not give it back
　at once. In the Kirimoto family, the used spoons were used as a teathers.

　　This is the spoon when an adult holds it. Fukiurushi finished spoon can be used
　　casually. This is an everyday-use spoon.

　　【Kodomo　Spoon (means spoon for children)】
　　This spoon with a small head and firm hand grip and gentle curve is the spoon for
　　babies and mothers.

　　A baby who is being weaned can eat food easily using this spoon. This safe
　　lacquered spoon is good for the baby’s first meal.
