　経歴と活動をご紹介いたします。

1962年　石川県輪島市生まれ。
1985年　筑波大学生産デザインコース卒。
　　　　　コクヨ（株）意匠設計部入社。オフィスプランニングに従事。
1987年　家業の桐本木工所へ入社。
　　　　　木地師見習いを経て、漆器木地業を生業としながら同年代の職人さんたちと一緒に、
　　　　　暮らしの中で使うために漆の器、小物、家具、建築内装材を企画、デザイン、製造・販売。
2000年　輪島で作り手仲間と一緒に「ギャラリーわいち」を設立（代表）。
2000年 「ギャラリーわいち」がグッドデザイン賞・新領域デザイン部門受賞
2001年 「石川県デザイン賞」受賞（石川県デザインセンター）
2004年　東京日本橋三越本店に「輪島キリモト」出店。
2005年 「いつものうるし」（監修：ラトルズ刊）出版。
2006年 「小福皿シリーズ」が「グッドデザイン賞・商品デザイン部門」受賞
2007年 「漆の名刺入れ」が「グッドデザイン賞・商品デザイン部門」受賞
2007年 「漆の蒔地シリーズ」が「新日本様式」100選に選定
2007年 　集英社モード雑誌「SPUR」での能登半島地震復興スペシャルチャリティ企画にて
　　　　 「ルイ・ヴィトン」から依頼を受け、漆の六角形小箱「BOITE LAQUEE WAJIMA」製作。
2008年　桐本木工所が「元気なモノ作り中小企業３００社」に選定（中小企業庁）
2009年　東京江東区高橋に「うるしの事務室」（東京事務室）開設。

1962　Born in Wajima City, Ishikawa
1985　Graduated Tsukuba University Product Design Course
Started working for Kokuyo in the Design Planning Department, doing Office Planning.
1987　Started working at his family’s company Kirimoto Wood Craft.
After apprenticing under the wood craftsmen, he worked making wood cores for lacquerware as his main job while also developing, designing, producing and selling lacquer vessels, accessories, furniture, and architectural interior materials on the wide with other young craftspeople.
2000　Established the Gallery Waichi with other Wajima craftspeople (Project Leader).
2000　Gallery Waichi won a Good Design Award.
2001　Won the Ishikawa Prefecture Design Award (Ishikawa Design Center).
2004　Opened the Wajima Kirimoto shop in Tokyo’s Nihonbashi Mitsukoshi.
2005　Published “Everyday Lacquer” (Rutles).
2006　Lacquered dishes won the Good Design Award in the Product Design category.
2007　Business card holder won the Good Design Award in the Product Design category.
2007　Makiji Lacquerware Series chosen for Japanesque Modern Collection.
2007　Collaborated with Spur (fashion magazine published by Shueisha) on a special charity project to help the recovery after the Noto Peninsula Earthquake, produced a six-sided lacquerware box commissioned by Louis Vuitton called Boite Laquee Wajima.
2008　Kirimoto Wood Craft chosen for “300 Energetic Small and Medium Manufacturers” (Small and Medium Enterprise Agency).
2009　Opened the Urushi Office (Tokyo Office) in Takahashi, Koto Ward, Tokyo.
