　■ 山道シリーズのこと
　これは朴木地屋である輪島キリモト・桐本木工所が提案する「木目を活かしたお盆」です。
　遠山に見立てた枠材はタモの無垢材を、鏡板はタモ材天然木工芸板を使っています。遠山に
　見立てた枠が四方続くので「山道・・・」と名付けました。枠を斜めに組むことにより、
　持ち上げやすくスタッキングが可能になりました。傷の付き難い丈夫なタモ材は、毎日の
　生活の中で大活躍です。拭漆仕上げなので、直接食べ物を置くこともでき、使った後は柔ら
　かいスポンジと中性洗剤で洗えます。
　トレーとしてだけでなく、皿としても使える、一石二鳥のアイテムです。

　■ About YAMAMICHI (literary, “a mountain path”)
　This is the tray that utilizes the grain of the tree. This is what Kirimoto recommends
　as a wood core manufacturer. As for the frame which is on all sides (look like
　mountains) are made of pure Tamo, Japanese Ash tree.　The panel in the center is
　made from the natural Japanese ash wood craft board. The frame is a metaphor of
　mountains that surround on all four sides. Therefore, we named it Yamamichi, a
　mountain path. As the frames are assembled obliquely, you can hold the tray easily
　and the trays can be stacked. Japanese ash is durable and cannot be damaged
　easily, so you can use it daily. It has a high surface hardness and is safe to use with
　metal cutlery. It is finished with Fuki-urushi, so you can put food directly on it, and
　wash it using a sponge and mild dishwashing liquid after use. It can be used not only
　as a tray but also as a plate.

　　Beautiful curve metaphor of mountains. It offers a gentle touch when you hold it,
　　because the edges of the frame are carefully planed off. This is filled with the
　　experienced artisans’ individual technique and thoughtfulness.

　　If the sizes of tray are the same, you can pile them up and store them neatly.
　　Yamamichi is designed from a users’ stand point.

　　Yamamichi is durable because the each part are assembled firmly with solid
　　Japanese ash. Even the bottom is made perfectly.

　　Since it is finished with Fuki-urushi, it can be used not only as a tray but also as
　　a plate. It can be washed using a sponge and mild dishwashing liquid.
